You must use a desktop computer, laptop computer, or tablet with a reliable internet connection to complete the course.
8.2 Certificates
For DDC-4, the student is responsible for printing their own certificate of completion upon finishing the course.

9. Workbooks and Certificates
9.1 Student Workbooks (Live Courses)
For Alive at 25® and ADoD courses, your student workbook will be mailed to you approximately fourteen (14) days before your scheduled class date, not from the date of registration.
If your class is within five (5) days and you have not received your workbook, contact us immediately at info@californiasafedriver.com.
9.2 Change of Mailing Address
Any change of mailing address must be made at least fifteen (15) days before your scheduled class date. Once a workbook has been mailed to the address on file, any additional workbook shipped to a new address will incur a $35 replacement fee plus any overnight shipping costs as needed.
Book replacement requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the missed class.
9.3 Certificates of Completion (Live Courses)
Certificates for Alive at 25® and ADoD courses will be mailed to you after you complete the course. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for processing and delivery.
In accordance with the rules of the National Safety Council, certificates cannot be sent electronically.
Certificates are printed on secure paper. Any photocopy of a certificate will display the word "VOID."

Replacement certificates are subject to a $30 fee. The National Safety Council provides one certificate per book set. If a replacement certificate is issued, a new book set must be purchased on your behalf.
To request a replacement certificate, email us at info@californiasafedriver.com from the same email address used to register. Include your name, date of birth, and the course you completed.
Allow approximately two weeks for processing and delivery of replacement certificates.
10. Court-Referred Students
10.1 Court Acceptance Disclaimer
Any statement that a course is court-recognized, accepted, or similar means only that some courts or agencies may accept a course in certain circumstances. Acceptance varies by court, judge, commissioner, county, agency, and case type.
Students are solely responsible for confirming acceptance with the referring authority before enrolling.
It is the student's sole responsibility to understand and comply with all directions, orders, and requirements of the referring court or agency, including when, where, and how to provide proof of course completion.
California Safe Driver does not report course completions to courts or agencies unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
10.2 Timing
Do NOT enroll in a class that is within two (2) weeks of your court date. Certificates of completion will not be delivered in time.
You are solely responsible for presenting your certificate of completion to the court by your court-ordered deadline. California Safe Driver is not responsible for any consequences arising from late delivery of certificates or failure to present a certificate to the court on time.
11. California DMV Disclaimer
California Safe Driver is not a California DMV traffic school or a point-reduction program. California Safe Driver provides National Safety Council educational courses, some of which incorporate California state traffic laws, responsibilities, violations, and consequences.
Students are responsible for confirming any insurance, employer, court, or agency benefits independently.
12. Intellectual Property
All course materials, branding, videos, forms, workbooks, and instructional content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Students may not copy, record, reproduce, distribute, or share materials without written permission from California Safe Driver. Recording live classes is prohibited.
13. Electronic Communications
By enrolling, students consent to receive course-related communications by email, phone, and SMS. We do not send promotional or marketing communications. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
